When you book a private Bourbon Trail tour with Bourbon Excursions, we’ll come to you! Our tour guides are happy to pick up your group from your hotel or Airbnb. Please contact us to discuss any arrangements. For Public Bourbon Trail Tours, we’ll meet at The Galt House Hotel, which is centrally located in downtown Louisville. It’s an easy and convenient spot to start your Kentucky bourbon adventure!

Private Bourbon Trail Tours are for you and your guests only! With Bourbon Excursions, you can choose from Custom, Pre-Packaged, or VIP private tours — perfect for exploring Kentucky your way. Our Public Bourbon Trail Tours are open to the public and can be booked as long as seats are available. The itinerary for Public Tours is pre-set, but with stops in places like Louisville, Lexington or Frankfort, there's plenty to enjoy along the way.

The dress code is whatever you want it to be — we want you to be comfortable and enjoy your time exploring! That said, we do recommend wearing closed-toe shoes, as some distilleries may require them for safety reasons during tours. You’ll also want to dress for the Kentucky weather and be ready to walk or stand during parts of the day. Whether you’re going casual or dressing up a bit for photos, just make sure you’re comfortable and ready to enjoy the experience.

All of our Bourbon trail tours will make a stop for lunch, but this is not included in the price of the ticket. However, we do welcome snacks and drinks aboard our vehicles.

Our Pre-Packaged Bourbon Trail Tours are priced for groups of 6 or more. However, we’re happy to accommodate smaller groups. Our Custom Tours are personalized to you! You tell us how many guests you want in your group, and our knowledgeable guides will help you find the perfect solution.
